Wings over the Water Beta Weekend opening on 23rd January

Cancel all plans if you have any - the 'Wings over the Water' Beta Weekend is about to begin! Starting from23rd to 25th January 2015, we'll be sending out invites for a spot to play in the World of Warships Beta Test for a limited period of time. This is a great chance to experience the exciting ship-to-ship combat system and and see what the game has to offer so far.
Within this period, all beta-testers will be able to...
- Access two Tech Trees: USA and Japan
- Research and unlock vehicles up to Tier 10 (previously 5); the Yamato-class battleship is now available for play!
- Playtest up to 4 classes of warships: destroyers, cruisers, battleships and the new aircraft carriers! Gain access to the crew functionality, featuring warship captains
Newcomer Introduction Tutorial
Whether you're an experienced tank commander or pilot wishing for a change of scenery, or just someone looking to try something entirely new, we have you covered.
In the 'Wings over the Water' Beta Weekend, you will begin with basic battles against ships controlled by enemy AI. As you research new tiers of ships, you'll graduate to joining battles against other human opponents. New mechanics, such as daily quests and using free EXP, will also be introduced gradually to help ease you into the game gradually.
